AKAROA COUNTY (a) A General Rate pursuant to Section 175 of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977 on the Capital value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Rolls for the ridings of Duvauchelle, Le Bons Bay, Okains Bay, Pigeon Bay, Takamatua and Wainui of decimal point eight four three three cents in the dollar (0.8433 c in the $). (b) Pursuant to a Special Order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board an administration rate on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Rolls for the ridings of Duvauchelle, Le Bons Bay, Okains Bay, Pigeon Bay, Takamatua and Wainui of decimal point nought three five five cents in the dollar (0.0355 c in the $). (c) A separate rate pursuant to Section 143 of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977 (Pigeon Bay Hall) on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Roll for the riding of Pigeon Bay of decimal point nought one nought six cents in the dollar (0.0106 c in the $). AKAROA TOWNSHIP (a) A Consolidated Rate pursuant to Section 175 of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977 on the land value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Roll for the Akaroa Riding of three decimal point six two four three cents in the dollar (3.6243 c in the $) made up as follows: (1) A General Rate pursuant to Section 139 of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977 of Three decimal point one three eight nine cents in the dollar (3.1389 c in the $). (2) A separate sewage rate pursuant to Section 143(c) of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977, the Akaroa County Council Empowering Act 1962 and the Sanitation By law 1965 of decimal point four eight five four cents in the dollar (0.4854 c in the $). (b) Pursuant to a Special Order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board an administration rate on the land value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Roll for the Akaroa Riding of decimal point one nought one six cents in the dollar (0.1016 c in the $). (c) A sanitation levy pursuant to Section 162 of the Local Government Amendment Act (No. 3) 1977 the Akaroa County Council Empowering Act 1962 and the Sanitation Bylaw 1965 a sanitation fee of Forty-five dollars ($45) per water closet and to be levied on each pan connected to the Akaroa Urban Drainage area with the proviso that where a dwelling used solely for residential purposes has two or more pans the charge for the second or additional pans shall be Fifteen Dollars ($l5). That a discount of four (4) per cent allowed pursuant to Section 70 of the Rating Act 1977 on the General and Consolidated Rates on all rates paid within one month after due date. That an additional charge of ten (10) per cent pursuant to Section 17 of the Rating Act 1967 shall be added to all outstanding rates (including the Sanitation Levy) remaining unpaid after February 14, 1986. That the minimum rate to be struck on any property be Ten Dollars ($10) pursuant to Section 166 of the Local Government Amendment Act (N 0.3 1977. That all rates struck are for the period April 1,1985 to March 31, 1986 and shall become due and payable on August 13, 1985.
