Retirement dinner
PA Levin A special dinner to mark the official retirement of the former champion jockey, Bill Skelton, will be held by the Levin Racing Club at its course on July 15. Speakers at the dinner will include the former English soccer international. Mick Channon. who is the owner of a horse breeding establishment in Ireland, and the racing commentator and sports announcer, Jack O’Donnell, who comes from Skelton’s home territory of the West Coast.
