The Centre uses Sony Broadcast equipment including Betacam cameras and recorders, lin C format mastering and computer controlled editing. Plus a GVG 100 Vision Mixer, “off line” edit suite, tape duplicator bank, and small continuity studio. The prime function of the Centre is to produce video material for external teaching programmes. Release formats vary from lin to VHS depending on circumstances. Previous experience in television or film with an interest in education is desirable. The appointee will be required to assist in the development of production scripts, develop and co-ordinate production, and assist in staff training programmes.
