N.Z. Petroleum owns licence
PA Wellington New Zealand Petroleum Company, Ltd, has purchased all of Southland Energy Resources, Ltd.' Southland Energy holds a 50 per cent undivided interest in petroleum prospecting Licence 38074. As a result of the purchase, New Zealand Petroleum now holds a 100 per cent interest in the licence, which is located in Western Southland. It covers 890,000 ha. New Zealand Petroleum is a listed oil and gas exploration company based in Wellington. Its shares are also listed in the United States.
