Simple competition to boost health campaign

A severi-day trip to Sydney for three is the top prize in a dental awareness competition being launched today as part of Dental Health Month.

Designed to have great appeal for all age groups, the competition is aimed at encouraging them to become more aware of a few basic facts about dental health.

All entrants have to do is answer half a dozen simple questions about dental

health to be in the running for the top prize. Other prizes are a Philips video system and six Kodak Ektra cameras, and of course consolation prizes of toothbrushes and toothpaste. The competition is being organised by the N.Z. Dental Health Foundation, and is being promoted through pharmacies, school dental clinics, dental surgeries as well as through community activities. It has the support of a

number of companies involved with oral hygiene products. They are Aim Toothpaste, Johnson and Johnson, Macleans Toothpaste, Griffin and Sons, Ltd, the Wrigley Company, Spik Toothbrushes, Reach Toothbrushes, the New Zealand Sugar Company and Gilseal N.Z., Ltd.
