Film man dies in London
NZPA-Reuter London The film-maker, John Boulting, who with his twin brother, Roy, made several well known British films, has died of cancer. He was 71. The Boulting partnership, formed in 1937, was responsible for launching the careers of many stars, including Peter Sellers, Sir
Richard Attenborough, and lan Carmichael. Among their successes were “Brighton Rock,” based on the Graham Greene novel; “I’m All Right Jack,” which lampooned British trade unions; and the army farce, “Private’s Progress.” John Boulting, who was married three times, died on June 17.
