Factory on fire
PA Auckland Fire caused damage exceeding $lOO,OOO to a Penrose metal-processing factory yesterday. A spokesman for the company, Davy Industries, Ltd, said makeshift offices would be set up today and work in the anti-corrosive plant would continue.
Fire officers are investigating the cause of the blaze, which began shortly before 10 a.m.
