Pupils in a scrape
Seventy schoolchildren will take part in a clean-up of illegal posters in the City Mall on June 26, as part of the Civic Pride Campaign. The children, from Freeville School, armed with buckets and scrapers, plan to remove posters illegally
plastered on rubbish bins, traffic-control boxes, and private and public property. City officials say the posters are a form of visual pollution. The children hope to gain sponsorship for Telethon from their clean-up.
