The Game (Packing and Export) Regulations 1967 Clause 49 (1) specify “that recovery of game meat will not be permitted in or within Bkm of the area where poison is laid for a period of four weeks following completion of poisoning.” Entry to these State Forests by permit holders for possum hunting and other forest users is not restricted.
