Massey University is a multi-disciplinaray university offering a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses both internally and extramurally. Among special features are its courses in veterinary sciences, agricultural and horticultural sciences and food science. The Registrar is responsible directly to the ViceChancellor for the day to day administration of the University. Administrative duties under the guidance of the Registrar include financial management of the University, academic administration, development and maintenance of the University Campus, provision of services and personnel management of academic and non-academic staff. Candidates should be graduates with wide administrative management experience, a sound knowledge of university practices and organisation and an appreciation of academic process. A general understanding of New Zealand universities and an appreciation of New Zealand Industrial relations and staff management would be an advantage.
