N.Z. News quits shares
PA Dunedin New Zealand News, Ltd, had sold its shares in NZPA Investments, Ltd, for an undisclosed sum, said the chairman of New Zealand News, Mr D. L. Steven, and the chairman of NZPA Investments, Mr J. C. S. Smith, yesterday.
NZPA Investments’is the company which owns the newspaper industry’s Reuter Holdings PLC shares. New Zealand News held 26.9 per cent of the capital of NZPA Investments, Ltd, and this shareholding has been bought by the remaining shareholders.
