The competition Is open to all past and present students of the Universities in New Zealand. The prize Is awarded annually for excellence in original composition and is of the value of $7OO. The subject of the prize for 1985 is: A work for either organ, or pianoforte, or harpsichord. The duration of the work shall be at least eight minutes but not more than fifteen minutes.
