PURE NEW WOOL NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD WOOL PRODUCTION OFFICER PALMERSTON NORTH THE board seeks a person with a sound background in wool production and clip preparation to service the Manawatu, Wanganui, Wairarapa and Taranaki regions. The position requires someone who can plan and implement extension and training programmes for wool growers and other groups involved in the raw wool industry. Good communication skills are required along with the desire and ability to provide leadership in our major export industry. Preference will be given to applicants. who are formally trained in agricultural science and wool technology with appropriate experience in production, preparation and/or processing. Experience in working with farmers and an understanding of sheep production and farm management would be an advantage.
