Duties will include collection of green fees, supervision of public use of the course, the operation of the professional golf shop, and generally providing a golfing service to public users. CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL ASSISTANT SYSTEMS OFFICER • APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Assistant Systems Officer in the Traffic Division of the City Works and Planning Department. The appointee will be the head of the Computer Services Section of the Traffic Division. The appointee will supervise and be responsible for the work of four other persons. Applications on the official application form close on June 10, 1985. Applicants should hold a tertiary qualification, preferably a University degree in Computer Science. They will require a minimum of five years experience working in computing, and have acquired management experience, systems analysis and systems design skills. Other qualifications and experience in appropriate fields such as commerce, engineering and management would be advantageous. Applicants must have demonstrated in past employment an ability to supervise others, and an ability to motivate those for whom the applicant has been responsible. Knowledge of PDPII computers would be an advantage but is not necessary.
