Old locomotive for display
NZPA-AFP Jakarta Indonesia will send a rare type of steam-engine locomotive to an international exposition in Vancouver next year, says a spokesman for the Indonesian Railways Department. The locomotive is a Ger-man-made FlO, one of the rarest still in existence, said Mr Hasan Basri. The FlO code refers to the pairs and amount of wheels. A number of the ancient steam-engine locomotives are still used in Indonesia, mainly on feeder lines in interior areas in Java and Sumatra.
