Argentina’s Public Works Minister, Mr Roque Carranza, will be sworn in this week as the Defence Minister because of the death of Mr Raul Berras. Mr Carranza, an engineer, became interim Defence Minister on May 16 when Mr Borras’s illness forced him to relinquish control. He will also carry on as Public Works Minister for the time being.—Buenos Aires.
