Transport Authority named
PA I Wellington The Transport Licensing Authority for the lower half of the North Islahd will be a former Railways employee, Mr William O’Brien. He is from Wanganui and retired in 1979 after 40
years with New Zealand Railways. As a Railways representative he appeared before transport licensing and appeal authorities. Since his retirement he has practised as a transport consultant.
