Halswell gains sponsor
Halswell United has become the fourth Hertz Soccer League team to obtain sponsorship incorporating a name change this season.
The team has gained sponsorship from Renard N.Z. Ltd, an Auckland fruit juice company, and will be known as Frucci Halswell United.
Part of the sponsorship is $5OOO worth of gear and equipment, and there will be a $lOO player of the day award for each match.
The player of the year will get an all expenses paid trip overseas for two.
