PA Taupo Brisbane's Desley Harper beat her fellow Australian, Alison Munt, four and three in the final of the New Zealand women’s under-21 golf matchplay championships in terrible conditions in Taupo yesterday. Other results:—
Plate final: Louise Mullard (Australia) b Lisa Bragwell (New South Wales) 4 and 3. Consolation plate final: Shelley Duncan (Otago) b Sheree Higgins (Waikato) 20th. Group consolation final: Helen Greenwood (Australia) b Annette Almond (Whakatane) 5 and 4.
