Key crew member leaves Enterprise
PA Auckland Round-the-world race yacht, Enterprise New Zealand, has lost a key crew member almost on the eve of its scheduled departure for England. The deck boss, Terry Flynn, left the Enterprise team after a difference of
opinion with the skipper, Digby Taylor. Flynn was a salaried crew member and the fourth ranked behind the two watch captains and Taylor himself. “Digby and I have had a difference of opinion over what is best for the boat.”
“I don’t really want to discuss it in any detail, at least until Enterprise has set sail. It is nothing personal, just a business disagreement,” he f said. Flynn sailed in the last Whitbread round-the-world race-
