Viko buys Torocolor
PA Wellington A photo-finisher, Viko Holdings, Ltd, has made a successful offer to buy Torocolor, Ltd.
The nominal purchase price of $850,000 will comprise about 216,000 Viko shares and $250,000 cash. Torocolor is a photo-fin-ishing laboratory established in Bulls and owned by 106 pharmacists, most of whom are located in the Hawke’s Bay, W’airarapa, Manawatu, Taranaki and Wanganui areas.
Viko said it was intended that the Bulls plant, together with some of its staff, would be re-located in Auckland.
The acquisition would boost Viko's photo-finishing roll intake by about 30 per cent.
