Non-tote race
Provided sufficient entries are received, the Canterbury Park Trotting Club will include a penalty-free race for three-year-old trotters at its meeting on Friday week. The race, with a stake of $2OOO, will be run over 2600 m from behind the mobile barrier. It will be a non-betting race and will be run at 5.15 p.m. The stake includes $l3OO from the Sires’ Stakes Board, which agreed to divert certain money from its first series to races for trotters.
