Thai A.I.D.S. victim
NZPA-Reuter Bangkok Doctors at a State-run hospital said a Thai woman has contracted Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (A.1.D.5.), the first Thai female to do so. They said A.I.D.S. —
which has no known cure — was rare in Thailand and only four cases had been confirmed so far. They said the woman caught the disease from a male friend, also a patient at the hospital.
