Duo’s tour
Two Christchurch musicians have recently completed a short North Island tour under the Queen Elizabeth H Arts Council-New Zealand Railways Travelling Artists Scheme. Rosemary Miller Stott and Anne Price performed in New Plymouth, Tokoroa, and Taumauranui and Wellington. The two have given concerts together before. Anne Price is a mezzo singer who is a recording artist for Radio New Zealand and has
sung with Christchurch choirs.
Rosemary Miller Stott is a soloist, accompanist and piano teacher and has also recorded for radio. On their tour the two performed Italian songs, a Brahms song cycle, Spanish songs, Chinese rhymes and an aria, with Rosemary Miller Stott playing solo piano pieces. In 1983 the two toured Southland and Otago and last ; year toured the other parts of the South Island.
