Winners of ‘Pinocchio’ competition
The large number of colourful, highly imaginative entries to the Pinocchio colouring contest gave the judges at the Cinerama a difficult time to choose the best 20 in each of the two age groups. After much deliberation, they selected the following as winners of double passes to see Walt Disney’s “Pinocchio” at the Cinerama from Saturday through the school holidays. Many of the winners are children from outside Christchurch. It is hoped, however, that they will be able to come to the city to see Disney’s cartoon classic. Double passes will be available for them at the Cinerama on presentation of suitable identification.
