Broadcasts begin
Extremist members of the Sikh community in Britain have started their own radio broadcasts to Europe and are negotiating for a satellite capable of reaching India. The first edition of “Khalsa Voice” opened with the socalled Sikh national anthem and lasted half an hour. It was broadcast on Radio Caroline, the pirate radio station celebrated for its pop music in the sixties, which transmits from a ship outside British waters.—London.
