PA Wellington A centennial history of the New Zealand electricity industry will be written by the Auckland-based husband and wife team, Peter O’Connor and Mary Ronnie. Mr O’Connor, associate professor of history at Auckland University, and Mary Ronnie, Auckland city •
librarian and former National Librarian, were selected from more than 100 applicants, said the Minister of Energy, Mr Tizard. The work would be completed within two years to allow for editing and publication in time for the 1988 centenary, he said.
