Swing on blues
Two different styles oi music come together at the Canterbury University’s Student Union’s ballroom this Sunday evening when the Rodger Fox Big Band and Midge Marsden join forces.
The concert is part of a tour to promote ’’Let The Good Times Roll,” the album that the Big Band and Marsden recorded, and
which was released lasi month.
Rodger Fox and Marsden believe they are getting the best of both worlds. People coming to hear jazz and others coming to hear blues. So Marsden is joined on stage by a big horn section — three saxophones, three trumpets, and two trombones. Tickets for the show can be bought at CJ's Music Store or the Record Room.
