Wool display
Sir,—Thank you for your editorial on increased support for the International Wool Secretariat. We can now debate the pros and cons of this step taken by the New Zealand Wool Board. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit New Zealand every year and we show them millions of our sheep, dags and all, but there is no static display of the products that could be made from the wool. It would be an advantage for the New Zealand wool industry and the wool manufacturing industry to have such a display which could also be used for fashion shows in wool, weaving exhibitions etc., so that the tourist has an idea why we keep all those sheep.—Yours, etc., F. J. BIERINGS. April 2, 1985.
