Rugby players banned
PA Wellington Two prominent Wanganui representative rugby players have been banned from their sport because of a delay in paying the cost of damages they allegedly caused at an East Coast motel. Michael Ingram and Dennis Ngaturere were named in a letter tabled last evening at
the executive meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union in Wellington. The union executive gave approval to the Canterbury XV match on March 30, against a Maoris XV at Temuka, as being worthy of first class status, while also giving approval to 34 applications for reinstatement from rugby league.
