Property passed in
PA Invercargill The western Southland property, Ardross station, was passed in at $615,000 when it was offered for auction. The 3479-hectare property, consisting of 202 ha freehold and 3277 ha pastoral, was part of the original Beaumont station and was subdivided in 1958. It has been farmed since by Graeme and Elma Fraser, who are retiring. Bidding was sporadic and private negotiations continued after the sale.
