Junior inter-club golf
Christchurch has a narrow lead in the junior inter-club golf competition after eight rounds. Results of the seventh and eighth rounds at McLeans Island on Sunday were:— Round seven.—Weedons 4, Windsor 2; North Canterbury 3, Kaiapoi 3; Russley 4%, Mcleans Island 1%; Christchurch 5, Harewood 1; Coringa 4, Central Canterbury 2; Waimairi Beach 3, Templeton 3; Waitikiri 4%, Avondale 1%.
