Turner near success
NZPA-AFP Singapore Taiwan’s Chen Tze Ming won the Singapore Open Golf Championship yesterday after a sudden-death play-off with Greg Turner of New Zealand at the Bukit course. Chen, who was tied with Turner for first place on 10 under par 274 after four
rounds, won the title on the first hole of the play-off with a birdie while Turner had a par four. < Chen had a four stroke lead into the final round yesterday but the New Zealander carded a five under par 66 to draw, level while Chen could only manage a one . under par 70.
