Coxswain selected

Andrew Bird, of the Avon club, has kept his job as coxswain for the New Zealand junior (under 18) eight to compete in rowing tests against Australia in Wanganui next month. Last season Bird coxed the junior eight which had handsome wins over the Australian crews in a two-test series in Canberra.
