Arms talks to split up
NZPA-Reuter Geneva The United States and the Soviet Union would start separate negotiations on medium-range nuclear missiles, long-range missiles, and space-based weapons next week, a United States Embassy spokesman said yesterday. _
“We have agreed that negotiating groups will begin their work on Tuesday, March 26,” he said.' The announcement was made after a fourth session by the full negotiating teams of the two superpowers, which began fresh arms control talks on March 12.
