The New Zealand selections were made at Ardmore airfield last week. The five pilots will be accompanied by a team manager. Mr Garry Berryman, and a coach, Mrs Pam Collings, both of the Canterbury Aero Club.

The cost of sending the New Zealand team is about $35.000.
