Hit-and-run vehicle sought
The Ministry of Transport wants to hear from anyone who can identify a white or cream small car which was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Thursday evening.
The car collided with a light blue Ford Laser at the corner of Prestons Road and Grimseys Road, Redwood, at 9.30 p.m. It failed to stop at the stop sign on Grimseys Road and collided with the other car, which was travelling on Prestons Road towards the Main North Road.
A young woman and baby were treated at the scene for shock.
Anyone able to identify the car or who saw the accident is asked to get in touch with Traffic Officer Gary Manch at the Ministry of Transport.
