‘Piggyback’ fares to return
PA Wellington Air New Zealand will rspect last year’s children’s “piggyback” fare to Australia.
The $99 fare will be available during April, May, and June for travel to five Australian destinations, for children under 15 accompanied by an adult. Existing fares range from $276 to $667. An Air New Zealand spokeswoman said the number of children travelling to Australia increased more than 100 per cent last year. The fare was used both by families on holiday and school groups.
