Quantity Surveyors/Estimators Major Building Group • To $35,000 Plus Benefits As a result of a current shortage of experienced staff in their head office and branch operations, a large building construction group has asked us to locate several quantity surveyors and estimators to rectify this problem. The company is involved in multi-storey and other commercial construction as well as industrial and other structural works. , . ~ In general, needs have arisen because of an increase in building activity, particularly in Auckland, and vacancies exist at several levels for qualified and experienced quantity surveyors and estimators. Quantity surveyors should ideally have a background in a building contractor environment, handling claims, variations and final account work, whilst estimators should display experience in bid preparation and project costings. Primary needs are in Auckland, though vacancies in other northern North Island locations also exist. Salaries up to $35,000 plus vehicle and benefits including relocation assistance are offered, depending on experience.
