In his effort to clean up Indian politics, Mr Rajiv Gandhi has exchanged his broom for a vacuumcleaner. He has dropped more than 1000' sitting legislators and 70 Ministers from the list of party candidates for the March state assembly elections — half the nAnrtrooc mamhflrc nf ihocn Occam.
