Darts champ. sued
NZPA-Reuter London The former world darts champion, Jocky Wilson, was sued by his manager yesterday, for repudiating a contrct he claimed to have signed when drunk. Lawyers for the manager, Ron Clover, demanded damages of about $73,000 from the one-time Scottish coalminer who won the world professional title in 1982 and remains among the game’s stars. The High Court was told that Wilson reached "the pinnacle of achievment in the darts world” under Clover’s management but now argued that he was in an alcoholic haze when he signed the 1981 contract.
