Public Notices o&sgv CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL STOPPING OF PORTIONS OF OLLIVIERS ROAD (at Worcester Street) PUBLIC notice Is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 319 (h) and 312 (1) (a) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Christchurch City Council has resolved to stop those portions of Olllviers Road described In the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Portions of Olllviers Road being all those parcels of land situated in the City of Christchurch and described as follows: Area: 4 sq. m, 157 sq. tn. Shown As: A. B. Survey Office Plan: 16402, 16402. Adjoining Land: Lot 1 D.P. 2631, Lots 2 and 3 D.P. 21549. PURPOSE The purpose of the road stopping Is to Improve the environment for residents in this portion of Olllviers Road by reducing traffic flows and to Improve the traffic safety of the Linwood Avenue-Wor-cester Street Intersection. The stopped road will be retained in Council ownership. The abovementioned plan may be Inspected during normal office hours at the Traffic Division of the City Works and Planning Department, Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street. Submissions in favour or objections against this proposal must be lodged In writing at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, or posted to P.O. Box 237. REVOCATION OF RESERVE: SHORTLAND STREET It Is hereby publicly notified pursuant to the provisions of Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977 the Christchurch City Council has resolved to request the Minister of Lands to revoke the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described In the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Canterbury Land District ALL that parcel of land containing 619 SQUARE METRES or thereabouts being Lot 9 on Deposited Plan 22733 and being the same as contained in Certificate of Title Volume 24A Folio 561. The above description refers to a parcel of land located at 176 Shortland Street. This reserve Is now Isolated from Cuthberts Green and it is not considered suitable for retention for reserve purposes. It is intended to revoke the reservation and return the land to a Residential 1 zoning. A plan showing the reserve may be Inspected during normal office hours at the Housing and Property Division, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street.
