Woman wins U.K. award
PA Wellington . Ms Carole Gordon, adult education adviser for the National Council of Adult Education, has been awarded the 1985 Commonwealth Relation Trust Bursary in adult education to the United Kingdom. Ms Gordon, of Tauranga, intended to study the place of technology and its relationship with information, guidance, and counselling services for adult learners, said the council yesterday. She will examine opportunities for self-directed learners and networking in adult education, with particular emphasis on publications, internatinal links, amd women’s education.
