LECTURER SENIOR LECTURER IN TECHNICAL STUDIES G. 681010 (Department of Post-Vo-cational, Technical and Commercial Studies, Goroka Teacher’s College). This appointment commences in July 1985. Applicants should be qualified mechanical or electrical engineers or automotive or electrical tradesmen with post-trade qualifications, and possess a degree or diploma together with experience In technical teacher education. SENIOR LECTURER ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN ACCOUNTING P.044018/84 (Economics Department) Applicants will be primarily responsible for teaching Finance with Electronic Data Processing experience and when necessary to teach Financial Accounting. Applicants should have as a minimum MBA (Accounting and Finance). Preference will be given to those with a combination of a good academic qualification — MBA/PH.D/ DBA and a professional qualification — CPA, CA, etc. Teaching, research, professlnal and or Industrial experience, particularly in a Third World Country would be an advantage. Lecturer Grade 2— K 18.670 gross per annum plus gratuity. Senior Lecturer - K 20.520 gross per annum plus gratuity. Associate Professor - K 22.520 gross per annum plus gratuity. OTHER CONDITIONS: The successful applicant will be normally offered a three year contract ending at the end of a semester. The gratuity entitlement is based on 24 per cent of salary earned and Is payable in Instalments or lump sum and is taxed at a flat rate of 2 per cent.
