High living
The cost of living in Argentina rose 20.7 per cent during February, and 803.9 per cent in the year ending that month, the Economy Ministry said. The Government had no comment on the latest inflation figures. Inflation during January was 25.1 per cent. With a ?U548.4 billion ($108.9 billion) foreign debt, Argentina has promised foreign creditors that the yearly inflation rate will be reduced to 300 per cent by the end of September.—Buenos Aires.
