Critics rave over new comedy
A new comedy series with a central character British television critics have likened to Leonard Rossiter, John Cleese and the Marx Brothers, will begin screening on One tonight. “Chance in a Million” stars a television newcomer, Simon Callow, as Tom Chance, an incident-prone gentleman who speaks in a
strange kind of verbal shorthand and leaves chaos in his wake wherever he goes. This walking disaster meets, by accident of course, a shy librarian, Alikon Little (Brenda Blethyn), and the pair embark upon a somewhat hazardous romantic relationship.
