M.P. again has surgery
PA Invercargill The member of Parliament for Awarua, Mr Rex Austin, is. recovering in Southland Hospital after minor surgery. A hospital spokesman said last evening that Mr Austin’s operation was “of a minor nature.” It was performed on Monday, and he expected him to be discharged in a day or two. He is expected to be back at work in Parliament about Easter. Mr Austin twice underwent surgery to remove kidney stones last year. He has had six such operations in recent years.
