Quality and care are important to staff

A belief that a good busi-ness-customer relationship is more important today than ever is behind the operation of Style-Lite Aluminium.

While setting themselves a high standard of quality for their aluminium doors and windows, the staff and management of the company also set a high priority on service to their customers.

The managing director of Style-Lite Aluminium, Mr Hilton Jerrard, says that the old-fashioned approach to business where the com-pany-customer relationship is on a personal level, is very rare when firms use high-pressure sales tactics. But Mr Jerrard says that Style-Lite has a policy of producing top-quality products, as well as full care and service of the customers’ needs.

“I’m one of the old school. I have done a lot of personal selling and I know the difference between highpressure selling and concern for the customers themselves and I know that we don’t need to be high-pres-sure to be successful,” he says. The service and advice offered by the company is not just friendly between them, the staff and management have had many years of experience in both the general building trade and

work with aluminium. Mr Jerrard brings 20 years of experience of working both in the building area as well as with people, and factory manager, Mr Brian Hurst, has been working with aluminium joinery for the last 16 years. The sales manager, Mr Paul Ludlow, was involved with the marketing of aluminium doors and windows for other Christchurch firms for three years before he joined Style-Lite Aluminium in January this year.
