A two-bedroom town house on Harakeke Street was sold at public auction for $128,000 on February 28. The house, built of permanent materials and including a modern kitchen, separate dining room, and double garage, has a Government Valuation (1980) of $64,000. Mr Prier said that about 15 people attended the auction with some genuine bidding.
