A pile is driven into the ground in preparation for the laying of foundations for the seven-storey commercial building at 153 Hereford Street, owned by the Anglican Church Property Trustees. Guiding the pile-driver is Mr Ivan (Skip) Broughton. Watching at left is Mr Steven Triggs. Both are employed with March Construction Company, Ltd, which is doing the piledriving. The contract for the building has been let to Fletcher Development and Construction, Ltd. The building, which is expected to be completed by September, 1986, will have shops on the ground floor.
